EGTC Coronavirus measures(March 13, 2020)
EPSOM GYMNASTICS AND TRAMPOLINE CLUB
Dear Parent/ Carer,
Apologies in any delay sending you out information and thank you to the parents who have emailed in requesting information. As you can imagine, we have had to wait for guidance from British Gymnastics, and I have had to liaise with the Rainbow Centre to align with their procedures.
As you are all aware this is a fast-developing situation, so today’s information is the latest I can give on the situation and how it relates to our club.
DIRECT CORONAVIRUS PREVENTION METHODS
- IF YOU COULD PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR CHILD(REN) TO WASH THEIR HANDS BEFORE AND AFTER ATTENDING THEIR SESSION (THERE ARE NUMEROUS HANDWASHING FACILITES ON SITE)
- IF OUR COACHES TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THE TOILET, WE WILL ENSURE THEY WASH THEIR HANDS AS PER CURRENT GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE
- WE WILL CLEAN DOWN OUR EQUIPMENT AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE
- AS PER THE LATEST GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE, IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD HAS A NEW PERSISTANT COUGH, OR A FEVER, PLEASE STAY AT HOME AND SELF-ISOLATE FOR 7 DAYS (I.E. DON’T TURN UP FOR CLASS).
HOW THE CORONAVIRUS COULD AFFECT THE RUNNING OF EGTC
Our sessions will run as normal until we are told otherwise by government intervention, British Gymnastics, or if GLL (Greenwich Leisure Limited) decide to shut the Rainbow Centre.
If this happens, and the Rainbow Centre is ‘locked down’, credits for lessons you have paid for will be carried over.
As fees are due by 4th April to secure your place for after Easter holidays, by all means pay for the whole term (option 1), however a more pragmatic approach may be to opt for option 2 (the 6 weeks deposit). Either is fine by EGTC. The term dates and fees were sent out a few days ago to clarify amounts.
I do hope this information has helped explain the club’s position as much as it possibly can in this unprecedented situation, and we would really appreciate your continued support during this uncertain time.
